Eibach coilover adjustment

I recently installed Stage 2 pro truck lift from Eibach. The front coilover is adjustable via a collar near the bottom of the shock. Unfortunately this collar is right in-line with the height of the sway bar at least on the passenger side. It's almost impossible to get the adjustment tool in there.

I'm trying to LOWER the collar about 1/4". If I raise the height I'm fine because the collar is going up on the shock body and away from the sway bar. But going down on the collar to lower it, it's really difficult just no room to turn the tool.

For anyone who decided to actually lower the coilover just a little, is there an easier way to do this while on the vehicle??

Hey,

4 months old but the answer's yes.

Turn your wheel full left or right, jack up the side you're working on to make it easier to turn the spanner wrench, and enter the front side of the wheel well and adjust.

Righty-tighty (increase height, spring will compress more) lefty-loosy (decrease height, spring will decompress).

With that in mind - looking at the spring on the vehicle the adjustment is up-side down. You're still loosening it, but since it's upside down it seems reverse thread (but is not).

That make sense? I'm willing to bet you took care of it by now though.

Got it thank you. I was able to figure out which way to turn everything, it was just really tight getting in there with the tool due to the location of the adjuster so not much room to move.
