That's the setup in their adjustable coilovers. I have a set and dig them too. Can't say as to if they're better or worse than anything else as there the only thing I've had.

how does it handle on highway?

I love the setup. I had just the lift on for about two weeks because my wheels and tires were delayed on arriving and it felt just as nice as stock with some greatly added responsiveness. The tires are where I noticed a significant ride change. I've said it multiple times before, but an E loaded BFG AT are STIFF. I've had several sets of AT's before, but every one of them were C loaded. These are noticeably more stiff.

Thanks for that. I have one more question. I can buy that setup for around 350. Or I've found a set of fabtech coilovers with a fresh rebuild and the guy said I could have then for 350 shipped. He said they have about 25,000 miles one them. Should I get the brand new 5100 or the used coilpvers? what singling all refinement?

In the long run, the coilovers will require another rebuild way before the bilsteins will wear out. The only advantage to them would be the ability to raise/lower the front end to your liking. My vote would be for the 5100's

Go for the new stuff, you will be much happier in the end.

thats exactly what i was thinking. these bilsteins will be brand new and last longer. all though the coilovers would be nice they will need a rebuild later down the road. thanks for the help guys. this forum is awesome ha

any of you know the best and cheapest place to but the bilstein? i found the front ones on ebay for 155.00 plus shipping best i can find. thats a good price just wandering if you know any other websites?

i also bought my 5100s off ebay to save bit on costs but i bought the eibachs from toytec. i also had 5100s on stock springs set at 2.5" for a few months and that also rode good but i ended up wanting more lift up front. unless you are set on a 3" lift, i would just go with the 5100s alone.

Are you guys talking about the tacoma 5100s? I always get confused because a lot of people run tundra 5100s with tundra TRD coils and some with OME coils. Yet I THINK the Toytec coilovers are tacoma 5100s with rebadged eibach coils? Ah hell I don't know

yea i was gonna buy them from toytec too... just made the payment on ebay 170.92 shipped to my door.. but yeah thats a good idea. but my runner has 220,000 miles and sill has stock front struts and springs and stock rear springs. i just replaced the rear shocks about 1500 miles ago with some cheap replacments from advanced auto. im set on 3" but im deciding i might as well just replace everything while i have it apart ya know. and i have a set of lc coils on there way too just waiting on the guy to pull them off of his car so im going to have to level those out. i dont like a huge rake.

What notch did you end up using on the bilstiens with eibach coils? and do you know if the eibach coils will sag with a bumper and a winch?

What 5100's are you going to use? Taco, Tundra's or 4Runner?

I'm more then happy with my Eibach/Taco Billes combo. I was on the first notch without the bumper/winch. Since then I've gone to the second notch with a bumper, winch, full armor. Currently my front end sits at 24 1/2" center to SR5 fender.

It rides very well for the price point. IMO it's the best price to performance front set-up for our rigs.

I'm running the eibach tundra 5100 setup on the second perch and it rides like butter.

Purchased my eibach springs slightly used off forums.
D558 5100 adjustable springs for 4runner/tacoma from Wheelers Off road $175.
Top plate mounts from KYB from Amazon for $33 each.
Cushion and washer kit from Wheeler off road for $20.

Haven't put them on yet, but the set up has gotten many great reviews.

LOL sorry they are sideways, posted from my phone.
