Does anyone have any wiring instructions for connecting Electric Trailer Brakes to the existing factory wiring for the trailer?

Where does the Wiring Plug/Adapter that came with the 4Runner get plugged into?

Well, what comes in the glove box from the factory needs to be spliced. Today, it's much easier to get a Toyota wiring harness from something like this (this is the controller I purchased online, and love it)

You opt for the Toyota harness and all you do is plug into the jack up above the e-brake in the footwell (there are posts here with photos of exactly what you're looking for).

No need to mess with cutting, wire taps, or any of that mess. Good luck :)

I can't seem to find that thread with the photos now. If you need help, let me know and I will go snap a picture of the stock plug.
