Electrical Problems with my 99 4runner

Hey, new 4runner owner, 99 black manual SR5. I love the truck but I'm having some issues. My rear driver side window won't work and when the window buttons pressed, which to me indicated that it was electrical. I took the door panel off and looked for anything out of the ordinary. Has anyone had a similar issue? I'm just looking for a diy solution.

The other problem is my driver side door can only be opened with the key. The keyless entry and button appear to not have an effect. It started getting dark before I could get in and look so if anyonoe could give me some theories on it that would be great.

Thanks.

narrow down the electric issue

the rear drivers side passenger window then?

Will it work with the switch back there at all? Will it not work with either the drivers (master) switch or the passenger's individual switch?

2/ The electronic lock and unlock-it works all the other doors but will not unlock the drivers or none of the doors? Will it lock the drivers or none of the doors?

My guess is your master switch has issues but let's get more info to narrow it down first.

And if you do need a new master switch I just happen to have one, but let's be sure. Not trying to push you in that direction, just did not want you to think you were being ignored.

Window: hold the button and beat on the door ( panel off ) see if it works. If so, sticking brushes in window motor.
Drivers door lock is probably a bad actuator, all you need is s test light to check that.
