The factory body ground is only 12 gauge. This is because for most all body circuits, that is sufficient for even the highest fan blower speed. Any circuits that draw more than 30 amps of current should really have a dedicated ground to the battery, or the engine block. By increasing this ground to 8 gauge, and it only being 14 inches long, it can carry up to 140 amps of current. If you have anything that draws more than 60 amps of current, you REALLY should have a dedicated ground path, not a body ground which can induce electrical ground "noise" in the circuit.

This is a current list of those who have initially signed up for the group buy. Those with a (T4R.org) designator are those currently on the list from this forum. There are one or two who have requested but not been added yet. I would like to begin compiling the orders so that I can get a database for supplies. If you are on this list I would like for you to send me a PM with the following information:
Your username
Your first and last name
Year of truck
Model (Tacoma/4Runner/FJ Cruiser)
Body style (DCSB, etc)
Tow package (yes/no)
TRD package (yes/no)
Engine size
What Kit you are ordering including changes from the standard kit. (this means if you want just terminal ends on cables, please let me know.)
If you are getting a Stage 2 Kit I need to know what size alternator you want, and if you want it powdercoated, what color.
If you are getting a Stage 4 Kit I need to know what two batteries you have, where they are located, and if you have a aftermarket fuse block added from the other GB.

This will save me a lot of time in creating the invoices. At current we have about 45 Kits desired. That is a lot of invoice writing and calculating, and if I am going to keep my promise of having all invoices out the day after the GB ends, I would really like to have them ready for all of you. Also, IF you happen to get an invoice that is incorrect just wait to pay it, and send me a PM with your information, and what is incorrect so that I can fix it quickly for you. I didn't expect to have so many people in this GB so I hope you will forgive me if there are some errors initially in the invoices and getting things sorted out. Thanks again to all of you for participating.

Since we hit 50 what I am going to do is upgrade all of the necessary cables to 2 gauge. So the alternator cable and the fender grounds will be upgraded to 2 gauge cabling. The only cable now that will be 8 gauge is the one to the factory fuse box. That has to remain 8 gauge as there is no factory power draw that will require anything bigger.

Question for the vendor: Is there enough slack in the primary cables that they would fit a larger (Diehard Platinum 31m) battery. The stock cables are pretty tight on my 2013 4runner from what I've seen.
