B2B also has alternators for sale too through this gb and I think they are plug and play the GM cs144 isn't really.

Currently I do not have the need for the increased amp alternator, so I was either going to wait to install or go ahead and install as long as it wouldn't fry anything. I'm a newb with electrical but am going to be getting a winch, and lights soon so just wanted to get the bigger alt. in preparation for the usage.

You can still always get the Stage 1 Kit in the GB that comes with the larger alternator cable, and then later on get the alternator and it will just connect right in.

Personally I think my alternators are a much better option that the CS1144 option. My alternators are plug-and-play with the Toyota line because the casing is the exact same Nippindenso case that comes from the factory. Plus mine come as 130A, 200A, and 250A units with a 12month/12,000 mile warranty.

Yeah, I guess that makes more sense, lol I just PM'd you about the other issue and now I'm changing it again. This way if I feel a larger amp is needed I can go ahead and have you build a larger one instead, thank you for making me see things more clearer.
