Electrical/Turn Signal

All,
I have a '04 V6 Limited with approx. 67000 miles. My left turn signal has been blinking extra fast (this indicates that a bulb is out). However, there are other anomalies with this feature that seem to indicate a more severe problem. Whenever the left indicator light is blinking fast, the Reverse indicator ("R") flashes on the instrument display (wether driving or parked), and if I'm driving (while accelerating) the car seem to lose power as if its about to stall.

When I check the bulb (the rear) I can see that it is bearly giving off any light (as if it is not getting enough voltage). The bulb itself seem to be perfectly fine. When I re-installed the same bulb it started working fine. The fast blinking of the indicator stops and begin to operate normally and so does the other issues I indicated above. However, after a day or so the problem is back. Any thoughts?

If you have a volt meter, find the wiring print for your 4runner and start looking for where you are loosing the voltage, it sounds like there might be a loose connection in the harness in your tail light assembly
