Elocker question

Does the elocker it self has a breather like the axle housing does ? And is the breather same style. I'm trying to make sure I'm not missing anything.

It does have a breather but it's a tiny thing

Gotch ya. That's what I figured. It does not seem to be the same pressure valve as the axle housing. Seems to be just a simple tube.

I want to extend my rear diff breather and elocker breather. And I'm wondering if I need to use the Toyota pressure valve DIFF ?

Want to put the breathers either in the gas tank area. Or inside the car.

I remember my breather on my 2000 seemed to be missing some stuff. I didn't realize this until I got a replacement rear axle ( the entire thing from a 97) which had a little cone shaped check valve. I think it tucked away in the frame somewhere. Found this

I extended mine with a bit of line I had laying around, into the cab.

The elocker breather is different then axle housing breather though correct ? When we pulled the elocker axle out. There was a small valve breather on the axle. And a long rubber line on the elocker. I just want to make sure I didn't lose anything or something was lost.

Yes, they are different. The e-locker breather does not have a valve.
