elocker question

hey everyone!

just picked up a 98 sr5 with the locker and had a quick question. When I press the button for it is the light supposed to flash on the gauge cluster?

It will flash until locks in, then the light will be solid.

Mine always flashes even when I hear it audiably click in place. Too lazy to change out the sensor for it.

for the locker to engage the truck must be in 4lo and the rear wheels must be turning at different speeds (such as when turning or slipping).

When it locks the lights will stop flashing.

Unless you perform the "blue wire mod", then you can e-lock whenever.
