Emblem painting questions

My emblems are oxidizing and I was wanting to repaint them. They are currently gold and I was wanting a different color. Any suggestions for a white TR4 (no chrome on my car so I don't want chrome)? Also, do I simply just ply the emblems off w/a screwdriver? And what is the bondo that I need to reapply them?
Also I have a gold pinstripe with that silly leaf at the back and I'm wanting to take it off and put the TRD Off-Road decal on, and I'm worrying that the white under the stripe is gonna be different. Should I be?

Yeah I just use stuff called GOO GONE Pro Power with LEMON scent! and before I put it on, I took a hairdryer and heated it up for like a minute or two..Then just pour Goo Gone on the top and take a plastic putty knife and see if you can work it down between the emblem and the car....but do it slowly and carefully because they break pretty easily between each letter...theres really thin plastic there so it snaps easily...the glue is a pain to get off but just scrub away.

Pearl black would look really sweet with a white car, you should be able to find that...

I used rust-oleum shrome finish spray paint with a top high gloss finish.... and it looks nothing like CHROME; its more of a pasty white/ silver.... so i would look for pearl black

And if you take the pin stripe off i would bet there would be an obvious line down the side of your car

I actually just did this last night and painted all my emblems with Rust-oleum Black Metallic and a few coats of clear spray (they were gold). The emblems look good and I'm still deciding which ones are going back on, but the one problem I noticed is that not matter how much goo gone you use to remove the old double sided tape it leaves an outline of the emblem on the vehicle. I'm going to try and wax it out tonite, and possibly have to buy some sort of polishing compound, has anyone else had any experience with removing this outline?

By the way, the writeup on Yotatech is what I followed to remove the emblems, very straightforward.

yeah they glue they use is almost impossible to get off...i just put my silver ones right back on where they originally were
