i need help with emergency roadside kit storage ideas
in my ext cab taco I just threw all this shit in the back behind the seat because nobody but kids and dogs can fit back there lol.
now that I have a Cadillac 4runner I don't want a bunch of shit laying around the passenger seat floor area so it needs to go "somewhere" and my first and only though is in the rear cargo area.
well I need something I can move around easy and not take up a lot of room so I figured a simple storage tote like this would do, but I wanted to hear what you guys did, maybe you guys have better ideas? https://www.walmart.com/ip/HMS-7103...trategy=TIC&visitor_id=QTcWM9ypoaVRrbiHdKzwsM
it fits a portable 2-ton floor jack, jumper cables, 4-way lug wrench, and i'll throw in 2 flashlights (because if you just have one, it always has dead batteries lol) with a rag and some leather gloves. that's just about all I need for fixing flats which is all I am concerned with. but I don't know how well it will hold up.
I got a second one for use as a spill tray if I need to haul something messy
so I guess im really asking if anyone has any better or more creative storage ideas to put all this stuff away out of sight somewhere so I don't need a storage tote to use as a make shift trunk? I know the floor jack can go anywhere but are there good little storage areas hidden away somewhere that im not aware of?
