Engine cleaner?

Do you guys use this? Is it safe to be spraying the engine bay like that with the cleaner and water?

I've used it. I put a plastic bag over the battery and fuse box. Sprayed the gunk, let it sit for about 10 min, then hosed tipoff with a "gentle" spray. Didn't have any problems.

I just did the exact same thing last weekend, only I used GUNK Heavy Duty Gel. After rinsing, used GUNK Shine to protective coat the engine bay.

Just make sure your engine is off and cold (or slightly warm, just not hot). And beware! This stuff is smelly! I had a neighbor at the end of the street drive over and tell me I was stinking up the whole neighborhood with the rinse off. Stupid me...I didn't even think about that (EPA would want to kill me).
