so anyways last night after leaving work i was driving to my buddies house and i was driving my t4r and i was going a little fast, fast enough to be safe of course but anyways i was going into the corner pretty fast so i hit the brakes and the engine died? idk what was up with that but i thought it was strange and since the fuel light was on thought oh maybe it just sloshed all the gas to one side and it died with no fuel, so i filled her up and did the same thing on the same corner again, truck died, started up just fine and never had any problems i just thought this was really odd, maybe a saftey feature i didnt know about, anybody have any ideas??

The fuel tank sometimes has baffles inside to help this from happening but usually only in sports cars. Our 4runners are not made to go around a turn at high speed especially without any fuel in the tank. The pump loss fuel and the motor cut out.

This happened all the time in my talon if I had less than 1/8th of a tank but that was on the track with full coil over suspension tuned to take turns. You must have been flying!!

haha i wasnt going to fast tho just gave it a little love, and it happened again after i filled up the tank! so i was at a loss, it was scary because the power steering obviously wasnt working lol but idk just got me wondering.
