engine noise after deep water

I notice you have old school rides and figured you know what the squealing belt noise when loose sounds like, if it's similar, as you describe I would say belt.

You have eliminated the tensioner pulley in my question.

They usually make a swoosh..swoosh sound when the bearings are going out due to foreign debree get in them.

Ya i Would day it it's that old school sound. I'll just replace the belt since it's cheap and see.
