Engine rattling Disturbing

I have this really loud rattling noise in the engine of my 97 Sr5 T4R it has the 3.4L in it. I can't figure it out. It doesn't seem to have any effect on driveability/ power. Any ideas ?

when does the rattle occur,? accel, idel, and if the noise is realy loud I would just take it to the shop before it gets worst. there's really nothing we could do but guest on what the noise could be.
but we'll try.

yea, if you give us the situations in which you hear it, we can take some good educated guesses!

it is a constant rattle. its always rattlling idle, accel, decel. Some one told me it was an idle pulley bearing does this sound familiar?
