Newbie here and wanted to say hi.
I have a 2008 Toyota 4runner, 2wd, V6 and need to replace the motor. I have done motor swaps before but have never seen a transmission not have a dust plate on the bottom to remove the bolts from the flywheel to the Torque converter.
I did some research and looks like the only access to do that is by removing the starter? Sure is tight spot to try and turn the flywheel and remove the bolts.
Anyone done this.. have any advice or how tos?
