Engine Upgrade

My 98 v6 is tired and I dont want to sell the vehicle but I do want to upgrade the engine.
Does anybody know what other toyota engine will fit my 4 runner's manual tranny?
The bigger the better or turbo charged.
Dont want to race it but I want the power!

I was thinking about a v6 toyota turbo from a junk yard
I wanted to find out what engine choices do I have that will bolt into the 5 speed?
