Upon researching about the driveline shudder when turning sharply in 4hi(unlocked), I stumbled on this paper:

The paper gave some engineering insight on our transfer case, and explained (partially) on why sometimes the whole car shakes while turning sharply at full lock. From my understanding, if you full lock the steering while accelerating above a certain threshold, combined with the front wheels turning significantly faster than rear wheels, the Torsen unit goes into a 29 : 71 torque split, which can cause rear diff shudder. According to them, this is the most difficult problem to solve for a Torsen unit.
