My name is Jeff, I'm a 19 year old Finance major at Tennessee Tech. I've got a squeaky clean 1 owner 96 5-Speed 4x4. I'm no stranger to 4Runners, and I've had a few in the past but sadly no pictures I can track down. I plan to update this thread as often as I can. I've been browsing the forum since i was 15, and have neglected to create a build thread for any of my past trucks but I have decided that I need to make one for this truck to document the experience and memories made.
Quick list of my former yotas:
97 4Runner SR5. Black Auto
98 Desert Dune Limited with E-Locker (I miss this truck every day)
99 5-speed highlander - Black (was going to be my baby, but I hate black and it needs a frame) This is my current parts truck.
99 Tacoma 3RZ 5-speed (Miss this truck alot too. Sold it to get my 96)

Quick Summary of info below:
1996 Toyota 4Runner
Stock 5VZ-FE
Stock R150F 5-Speed
Stock J-shift transfercase
Original suspension up front/99 talls in back
General Grabber AT2 265/70/16
I acquired it from an auction in Atlanta for a more than comfortable price. It was hit in the back (turned out to be worse than I thought) but other than that the truck looked to be in great shape from the pictures the auction provided. My father owns a body shop and I work with him so I wasn't scared of a little wreck but it still eats away at me a little bit when I see it. When school is out and I have time to get it back into the shop, it'll get worked, painted, and prettied up. Anyways, here is a few photos from the auction and when I got it home.
