Greetings everyone. I've search, and read all over this forum, and others, but can't seem to get this issue fixed. My 2004 4Runner has been running "rough" for sometime now. It has 198754 Miles. I took it to the stealership in February, and had a tune up and other stuff which has been WAY over due.
I replaced the spark plugs, and coils myself when it started running rough. The stealership insist that the spark plugs that i got from autozone was the wrong kind, NGK irridiums which i research on here, and the coils which I got on the internet was bad, they charged me $$$ to fix. After a few weeks it started the same thing, the stealership charge me $95 to do a diagnostic and says it is the Catalytic converters.
after puzzling up the funds I finally was able to take it to a muffler shop and replace the Catalytic converters, which did not fix my issue. The muffler shop claim they where all burnt up, but I had a crying baby in the car and had no time to check it out.
I bought myself a code reader and is getting the following
I replaced the sparks plugs again, and still getting the above code, I see no reference anywhere about coil C or D. Does that mean that something is up with coil (starting on the driver side to the passenger side) Coil 3, and 4, (the middle ones?) and what is up with them.
Thank you for your time in advance
