ps i got this from the govberment of canada's web site

Ten percent ethanol-blended gasoline (E-10) is now available at more than 1000 service stations across Canada. It may be used in any vehicle manufactured in 1980 or later, and you fill up your vehicle the same way you would with gasoline.

While gasohol is being touted as a way of reducing our dependance on oil imports, ethanol contains less energy per unit volume than gasoline, so mileage and performance will take a hit.

I've not seen any data that firmly support there being a great savings for this stuff. Since our cars were designed to run on gasoline, that's what I'm sticking to.
