I was looking around on google earth and noticed that they had updated our area of the Florida Keys. Then I noticed that a friend that comes down to fish had his truck parked in my drive, and my boat was gone, a little more looking around and found this.

Google Maps 'Street View' use to be a lot more clearer. You can see inside windows and such, as if you're actually standing in the street. People complained about their privacy being invaded, the clarity and resolution was lowered.

The satellite view for my house is probably at least 1.5 yrs old. My old car is still parked on the street, which has been gone for some time. Street view is a bit more updated. The last time I checked, it's probably at least six months old because the street sign is still the old one.

somebody did get caught cheating on street view. if you look on google images, (google seems to run everything? lol) you can find pictures of a guy with a gun, a man peeing on the side of the road, and a drug deal all on street view lol

They don't have Street View for us yet but I saw a small car come whipping into our cul-de-sac earlier this summer. There was all kinds of multiple (360 degree) camera gear and antennae on top and he wasn't going slow. I was looking right at it when he went by. I'll have to check the view when they get it posted for our area.
The marvels of technology! Who pays for this?

They updated to Streetview for our area so here is my debut. The program already automatically "hides" faces and licence plates.

I feel like being watched by my neighbors alone. haha.... Most of the time i see one of them when i leave and go home. At least they wave 'hi" or "goodbye".
