I see that you live in Colorado Springs... how bad could it be???
Just kidding, sort of. Man, if I lived there I would ride my mountain bike, trail run or hike every single day - stuff like that helps reduce stress levels and makes you feel better in general.
Ask yourself what makes you happy, and be honest with your answer. Then try your best to do that as much as possible.
100% man. OP, you could be a week away from quitting your job and becoming a hairbag ski bum for the winter, and honestly those are the happiest people I've ever met because they shape their lives around what they love to do, not their job. I still teach skiing part time and most of the instructors I work with are insanely well educated- engineers, former medical professionals, successful marketing and salespeople- but the thing they all have in common is they found that they were profoundly unhappy because they worked a job they didn't like to buy crap they didn't need.
