everything resets when engine turned off

i have a 2005 4 runner limited. everythime i trn the engine off, the next time i start the car, the closk is reset, the MPG is reset, etc. Anyone have any insight into what this could be??

ok, i figured it out. turns out, not only does the memory of the mileage and clock reset, but the homelink doesnt work, and neither do the dome lights. Solution: fuse in the engine fuse box labeled dome... it was the 10a, replaced with a 10a, and it blew immediately... probably because the door was ope and the lights dome lights were on? anway, put the spare 15a in, and it is working fine.

The fuse should not blow that easily. There's a problem somewhere.

There are a lot of things on that Dome circuit, mainly all of the dashboard and interior controls/switches, plus the moonroof, Homelink, and interior lights. Have you made any wiring changes or had any other problems lately? For example, have you added an alarm system or modified/replaced the stereo?

You may need this thread if you find the windows or moonroof aren't working correctly any more.
