Hey all....I work in the internet department at a dealership in Portland.
Our accessories manager just showed me an Eclipse Navigation Unit that is similar to the one everyone posts about, but better.
Fujistu makes all the decks for the Toyotas. Fujistu has made an eclipse deck for toyota that looks just like the eclipse offerred at the stereo stores. The only difference is that this deck has stock connectors in the back, so direct plug and play. In addition, no need to get a seperate harness in order for the steering wheel controls to work. If you have the synthesis systems the stock amp will need to be replaced. Something to do with a digital signal vs. 12v turn on...don't really understand.
This unit is only available through toyota, you can not purchase this unit at the stereo shop.
Hope this helps some of you looking to install the Eclipse unit.
