Exclusive Survival Bracelet Survey

Hey guys, so i made a thread about selling survival bracelets and well after talking to a few members on here i was thinking that it might be kinda cool to have exclusive survival bracelets just for all the members on the forum who are interested.

I have been playing with the idea of a three color scheme to make it different then the typical standard of most bracelets or with a tag/plaque of some sort in the center. I am partial to the centered object idea because not everyone wants the flashy look of the chrome tags.

Well im just throwing out this idea and if anyone would like to give some input please feel free to comment or throw some ideas of how/what you would like on the bracelets. Thnx

This is the type of bracelets in talking about for those who don't know what "survival bracelets" are. Made out of 7 strand 550 paracord, they are great when in a bind and or last resort. They are great to have in emergencies, when camping, offroad, etc.

Why wouldn't he be? Many folks have them for numerous reasons.

I bought one from a mother of a friend of mine who is 13B so she could raise money to send gift packages to his platoon.

I know they are somewhat more popular now, but good old 550 is like Duct Tape. A million and one uses!

Ya just figured since almost everyone on here goes wheeling, mudding, camping, etc that it might be nice to have an added safety always available for any scenario its needed. Just figured it would be nice to have a customized one that makes it a little different then the others that are sold online.

Edit: If you look on eBay, you will see that $10 is pretty pricey, especially for only one.

Well to make it exclusive i was actually going to be taking the ideas and possibly dying a color so that it is different and can not easily be dupilcated

as for eBay, u can always buy things there for cheaper but most of the items on there that are ridiculously cheap are not made of quality. Most ppl do not sell them to be customized in the color they choose and only come in standard sizes instead of molding the bracelet to fit its user. Also the cheaper bracelets do not use mil-spec Paracord so if it is ever needed the result would most likely lead to the cord breaking/tearing under pressure.

"Survival"? Ooookay. Drop someone in the desert with a box of these, and in a week you'll find a colorfully-decorated corpse. Water packets, first-aid kits, a good knife, a compass--those are "survival" aids. What is a bracelet supposed to save you from? I'm sure McGyver could put these together with some paper clips and build a shopping mall, but in the real world, this is what they call a gimmick. If you want paracord, buy a spool at the local army surplus shop.

Ya i know there always will be... if u watch survival videos on tv or on youtube they talk about how the necessities of a good knife and other things of that fashion are also important but most of them also have a survival bracelet bc they do add some extra preventative safety. But if u dont believe me that is fine bc i know u will not listen to my argument anyways...

I didn't read this that way. I think he was just reminding others that a false sense of security can accompany such "survival" gadgets. The best tool one has for survival is their brain. Use it constantly and maybe you wouldn't find yourself in a survival situation to begin with.
