Im sorry....I dont understand the question....If yo mean the rear passenger door exit for people then no because I DROVE ABOUT 280 MILES highway straight through then pulled over for gas and immediately checked to see how hot it would be getting out or in and it wasnt even noticeable...

Don't you get exhaust fumes in the vehicle????? Some people get the sulfur smell with the stock pipe exit location. It seems like your exit would make it even worse?????

I am not try to start an fight. I would never have thought of doing that for those reasons. If you don't have a problem.... Cool. It just seems like you would.....

no offense taken man.... I just couldnt figure out what the question meant and didnt know how to reply to it. I had a sulfer smell for about the first 10,000 miles but now I cant smell anything at all.....It really does sound mean though.

I notice mostly people run side exit, or dual side exit.

Is there any specific reason (ie backpressure), or is it simply cosmetic (only available pre-bent to be side exit)?

Not knocking on it - just an observation.

Well the aftermarket exhausts from TRD/Borla are both dual side exhausts. The Magnaflow/Gibson are single side exhausts to the side.

The JAOS exhaust is exits to the rear just like the stock exhaust.

IMO, the single side exhaust is classic 4Runner styling. I'm personally not a fan of the dual exhaust look, but to each his own.
