Excuse my ignorance, a question regarding 03-05 to 06-09 heading housings

I'm upgrading my headlights to the 2006 Sport and I already have the painted trim pieces, but what are the harnesses that are needed (and bulbs) to get this swap completed? Will HIDs work without melting the housings (assuming if so, only 35W)?

I used this harness, Genuine Toyota 81125-35440 Headlamp Cord, from amazon. And I cut the end off and soldered it to the factory wiring.

Keep in mind, that the amazon link is not a pair.

I also bought 9006 to h11 adapters.

The 35w hid should work fine. I however went with led bulbs.

I emailed theretrofitsource and they told me even the 55w should not melt the housing. But I would do more research.
