Exhaust pipe extension/modification

Is there an easy way or a kit to get the exhaust pipe to exit out under the rear bumper/hatch (please see picture) and not under the quarter panel area?

go to a muffler shop, and they can cut off the stock curved tip and weld/clamp on a straight tip. done.

If you are asking if it can be bent, no it cannot.

You can buy a new aftermarket tailpipe for $45 and experiment with it.

Thanks for the input. I thought there is simple bolt on solution. I'll do some wrenching and see what I can do.

My wife goes to work in 4runner and with that exhaust design, it fills the garage with exhaust fumes (truck is never left idle inside the garage, just start and backup).

Pick your poison(literally). With the rear window open, you will smell a lot more exhaust fumes. It looks cooler, but not for those that cherish the rear window on a sunny day.
