exhaust too loud!!

Hey ya'll, I need some advise to quiet down my exhaust; I have a magnaflow cat and spintech muffler w/stock piping. This setup sounds great but the novelty of being obnoxious and sounding like a V8 has worn off. I need a resonator of some sort to kill the decibel.

Not really sure on that one, It might be easier to just replace the muffler. Did you ever get any pics of your 4runner?

you could add a resonator to quiet it down a little but it sounds like you need a new muffler.

the muffler is a month old. I would hate to replace it since the quality is great....no baffling in it to go bad

Thanks! The running boards will be off before the winter and replaced with sliders. I would like a bumper and winch too. Do you think it can fit 33"s with a new bumper and fiberglass fenders?

wow i thought i was the only one with the spintech muffler. yes it sounds amazing and unique! i was thinking about the magnaflow cat too but the last thing id want is to get too loud. i have stock pipes and stock cat, and its only droney at like 40 - 45, other than that its great! sorry i dont have any suggestions for making it quieter it just caught my eye that someone else had it.

yeah it sounds good but the mag cat is pretty free flowing and it is LOUD! Got a 1-2mpg increase too with the deckplate and exhaust together.
