Exhaust Welding Fix

Hey guys,
My exhaust appears to have broke where the converter pipe meets the resignator pipe at the flange. I'm trying to avoid having to buy 1000 converter piece. Is it possible to have this welded at a shop? mind you it is somewhat rusty from the NE winters. In general though the converter integrity is not compromised. Just where the pipe connected to the flange rusted out. TIA

Had this repair done a few months ago, they remove the y section and welded a replacement stainless piece. Very happy with how it sounds now, no annoying exhaust leak sound.

On thing to point out, there was rust on the muffler casing but they pointed out it was superficial and wasn't affecting anything. Might be something to keep in mind when getting this work done. Some places apparently like to ding you for this work.

you can have it patched if theres nothing to weld to as a temp fix.
