Hey All,

I'm looking to do a MOD on my exhaust...either Magnaflow or TRD (cat-back). Any pros or cons on either? Or even if I should make the MOD. Any info is helpful...thanks in advance.

Was wondering why you didn't mention Borla? Far better warranty and quality than TRD. Many TRD models are actually made by Borlal. Others are made by Brazilian company BOSAL. Supposely the TRD Borla made ones are several pieces and are marked Borla - the BOSAL ones are one piece and are marked BOSAL. Supposedly the TRD exhaust is quieter than the Borla - even if Borla makes it.

ok thanks for the info. I see you have a BORLA exhaust. How do you like it? Looks? Sound? Performance? Can you post a link to the exhaust system that you have? THanks

I bought slightly used - so about 1/3 orig cost (list $900-1k) - hence happy with it at that price. Wife says annoyingly loud at 2k RPM cruising speed. Performance claim is 12 HP or so - but can't tell. MPG show .5 MPG improvement. Quallity made product with 1 million mile warranty! Lighter than OEM system. Single round polished stainless steel exhaust tip either side (TRD is oval?). Do search here in classified as some pictures were posted - Google online will most likely show generic system. Easy to install - every thing lines up perfectly. Don't even have to jack vehicle up. V6/V8 uses same model - not sure if LTD air suspension causes problem or not.
