Exhaust

Hey Guys,
I have a 1988 4Runner that needs a new exhaust. It's the 22re 4 cylinder 5 speed. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good exhaust I should look into? The whole thing is rusted out and needs replaced.

If thats the dynomax, I have it only 94 3.0. It is alright. I got it with a $75 dollar back rebate. With the rebate, it was a great deal to place my rusted through muffler and tailpipe. Sounds okay too. A little deeper, but not much different than stock.

Plus that way you can put it where you want. Tuck it, dump it, duals. The only exhaust I ever bought was for my dodge mega cab. I like getting my stuff made so i get what i want. You may want a stock replacement. To each their own.

That exhaust is cheaper on summits site, its about $105

I had a magnaflow 2.5 center inlet / 2.5 dual outlet. It actually made my 4runner sound like it was powerful, but i knew different.

Currently I have 2 chamber flowmaster 3" in / 3" out mufflers. I also more than doubled my litre's.

So ... look for a Flowmaster 50 series and have your pipes custom built?

find a exhaust sound that you like and go from there. It is all in preference.

I don't want anything too beefy sounding, just something to bring out some power from the 3VZE, yet stay within a small budget ... I'm lost..
