Expedition overland

...My general mantra is training, training, training! I can't see anyone who ventures out of an urban area not benefitting from a basic 16 hour WFA course! Well worth the time!

-H-

WFA is great, but if you've got a week, I think WFR is the best value in medical training. An 80hr course sucks up a lot of vacation time, but the ratio of time/money spent to knowledge attained is crazy.

Yes, I completed my WFR on weekends. So that's another option. If you are really interested and serious, it is the way to go. I can recommend a great instructor in Northen California that has a really good reputation.

Does anyone know their plans for their next trip?

I been stalking them on facebook and YouTube but nothing on new season so far. I bet it will be worth the wait though. They also made a clone vehicle to show off at car shows and events. I am gona catch it later here in LA. They will also be at the overland expo so you can ask them yourself in person.

Toyota had what I'm assuming is mimic of the X Overland t4r at the Denver show.
It didn't have sliders, just steps bolted to body, and no scratches, hence my assumption.

Still slick.

Yeah, that's a clone they have that goes around to various events.

I saw that, I was like well damn, a 200 series to play with?! I guess you could say things are getting serious.

Their last Vlog they mentioned they were planning in getting the voltage boosters for the stock alternator, i'm looking forward to a review to find out if it actually works

Even on the actual rigs they only put aluminum sliders on in prep for the this upcoming expedition they are currently doing vlogs for. He actually said in the first few expeditions they just rocked stock running boards. They were using them more for door/body protection & steps, but weren't sitting on them on heavily rocky ground.

I wish their VLOGs weren't just showing off all their free stuff.

I liked their earlier seasons such as the Morrison Jeep Trail.

Colombia to the bottom tip of South America, according to their vlog last week. The rigs will all be shown at Expo West next month, then they get shipped/transported to Colombia to start the trek from there. It's gonna be very exciting.

I guess we won't see an episode though until late Fall at the earliest, unless they're able to do some live youtube stuff like they have been these past few weeks. I like the raw video, no cuts or edits, just going with the flow and describing what they're up to.

I've been googling these and I can't seem to find any info, I think Clay referred to them as fuses... I am very interested with any solution to boost the voltage.
