As my current tires get close to disintegrating I'm still curious about the Pirelli Scorpion ATRs. They get rave reviews on TireRack but I noticed that most reviewers have put minimal miles on them and I always take TireRack reviews with a pinch of salt anyway.
They seem like a good mainly-on-road/some-off-road tire and are a good price, too. I can get a set of four out the door for about $650 locally. Flat spotting in the cold is the only consistent gripe I've read about, but that's not a problem for me here in coastal CA.
Does anyone have these tires? If so, what do you think?
