Extended Brake Lines-Stainless Steel

Ok, looking at several sets of Stainless Steel Brake lines,

Looking for the best deal, need to know what you guys have run, what is compatible.

I have seen some like this one for example

on some sites they describe this part # as being 4" longer than stock. but on Amazon they list it as normal.

Those that have bought online or in stores, links? part #'s? how long is stock? How long are most extended sets?

My stock brake lines are needing to be replaced, I figure I will give myself extra flex room for future mods while I do it.

I got an extended brake line from toytec for about $40. I still haven't installed it yet, but on the ad it says its 4" longer than stock.

yeah, lol, I know about Toytecs, but thats just the back one. I was looking for a whole set. Im sorry, shoulda mentioned that, I was looking for a kit, I also know about the Wheelers offroad ones, but it looks like the front are stock length and the only extended length one is the same as the Toytec one for the back.

but they say that they are non DOT...

the ones that dont come in extended lengths are DOT, how come I cant find a DOT extended line for the front and the back??

High Performance Toyota Brake Lines from Wheeler's Off-Road

This is what I used and I asked wheeler's employee's on live chat and they said that even with a lift the front brake lines are ok. As for the rear they recommend (obviously) extending the rear brake line. I've already ordered mine so HOPE THIS HELPED!! :hatsoff:

Longer brakes lines are not required for the front even with a lift. the stock lines are plenty long enough. Also, if you do get an extended line, don't go more than 1/2 inch extended unless you have a long travel kit

If you want the longer goodridge lines search using 2-21185. The extra 2- in the front are the 2" longer lines. Not as many places sell them so they are more expensive. Everything I've heard said that you don't need the extended lines for the front and unless you are above 2.5" in the rear you don't NEED them but they don't hurt. Let me know if you find a deal as I've been looking also. I even contacted stoptech to see if they have extended ones and they said only stock (950.44007 & 950.44510)

I was thinking the same thing...

I found stop-tech lines for as low as $28 for the set. Anyone know anything about them? I am thinking about replacing them too since I will be tearing apart the front end.

I`m looking for a set of braided ss lines for 5th gen, it seems no one selling them yet. I installed ss braided line on every motorcycle I owned, best brake mod ever.

Anyone find a set of SS brake lines for a good price? I wish stoptech made longer ones for the rear. I'd like to get a regular set in the front as they don't need to be extended and then an extended set in back.

I have All-Pro's stainless brake lines for the 1st gen Tacoma front and rear. They are actually "Crown Performance" lines. I forget what I paid but they are pretty nice. Only downfall is I had to use a Banjo bolt up front in order to fit the fitting. I would have rather had the female end like the 4Runners have from the factory.....
