extended range fuel tank

Hello to all,

I am new to the forum, and have a question that I hope you'all can answer.

I have a '94 4-runner, and I live in the great basin of utah, gas stations are few and far between where I go four wheeling. Does anyone make a larger, aftermarket fuel tank for the 4-runners? at best my range is about 250-300 miles. when heading into the desert I take spare gas cans, but they are always leaky and stinky, especially when carried in the back.
Anyone know where to shop for one?

Downey used to sell auxillary fuel tanks that mounted under the vehicle. I would check with them, another option would be to have one fabricated.
