Extended Rear Bump Stop Length

I just had a quick question (sorry to start an entire new thread). I searched a big and could not find any definite answers. For those of you that installed the extended rear bump-stops after doing a lift, exactly how much does it lower the stock bump stops?

I'm looking at making some of my own, but need to know how far to drop it so I don't go too far / too little. For future reference, is there any way to actually calculate this? I feel like I could get a close guess but not exact, since the shocks are at an angle, and it's pretty much impossible to tell where the axle will lie when the shocks are fully compressed. I installed new shocks recently, and after struggling with those stupid top-mount bolts, I NEVER want to do that again. Hence, I really don't want to blow out my new shocks.

Best way to find out is to cycle your suspension. You might be able to get more flex than someone else, or them more than you. Flex you rear, and pull some measurements for your lengths that will work for you.
