I just had a quick question (sorry to start an entire new thread). I searched a big and could not find any definite answers. For those of you that installed the extended rear bump-stops after doing a lift, exactly how much does it lower the stock bump stops?
I'm looking at making some of my own, but need to know how far to drop it so I don't go too far / too little. For future reference, is there any way to actually calculate this? I feel like I could get a close guess but not exact, since the shocks are at an angle, and it's pretty much impossible to tell where the axle will lie when the shocks are fully compressed. I installed new shocks recently, and after struggling with those stupid top-mount bolts, I NEVER want to do that again. Hence, I really don't want to blow out my new shocks.
