extended warranties

Since the orignal 6 yr/100,000mi warranty is coming around end on my '01 4R I was recently sent a flyer in the mail from a company called SecurePro (FIRST NATIONAL WARRANTY, LLC) offering coverage. I checked into the company; they are a member of the BBB and in satisfactory standing.

I bought a toyota b/c I wanted something that would last a long time, and wouldn't need many repairs. Down the road though there can be some pretty heavy repairs needed that I don't want to come out of my pocket (at least directly).

What is your guys' experience/opinion on this stuff?

I think they should be avoided and it's a Toyota so odds are against anything major going bad if you take care of it.

My '99 has 112k on it and the ONLY thing it had fixed that was a littel unusual but not really, was the rear axle seals at 100k. Ohterwise it's just been brakes, fluids and the timing belt at 85k.

Yeah, I really don't think it is necessary but thought I'd ask. Btw, how do you like your TerraGraps? Have you run BFG A/Ts ever? I saw the Terras on a rig the other day and they looked nice. Thanks for the input regarding my post though.
