"Extra" connector and "VSC, etc lights" on

Yesterday, my friend and I installed the Toytec 1" body lift on my 2006 4Runner. Putting it back together, we found an "extra" connector that comes off the wiring harness with the connector that goes to the pump for the windshield washer unit. Neither of us remember disconnecting it, but it seems way too clean to have not been connected to anything for over 100k miles but we can't figure out what to connect it to.

It is behind the front bumper on the passenger side.

Any hints as to what it connects to?

Also, possibly unrelated, but the VSC and TRAC lights come on after a short period of driving down the road. I assume the two events are related, but I can't find anything in any of the myriad "VSC lights are on" threads that says to check this connector so I'm mentioning it here in case the answer is obvious and I'm just missing it. If it's not related to the connector, I can continue my search to see if I can figure out what's wrong rather than create yet another thread about those lights.

If you can, post a pic of the connector in question. I'd guess the VSC lights are related but it could be possible you stretched or pinched an ABS wire as well.

I reset the lights by resetting the ECU by unplugging the battery for 5 minutes then driving around to verify. I found this thread --

and was having problems getting the lights to flash the way it said for resetting the sensor, but in the course of that thread it talked about ODBII sensors tripping up the computer so since I had connected a sensor recently I figured that was the problem. Anyway, I think that's fixed now but I still don't know about that connector.

I'll post a picture of the connector in a moment, once I get outside to take one.

This is the picture of the connector. You can see the windshield washer fluid reservoir to the right, the pump down below, and the connector facing toward the camera with nowhere to go.

Any hints? I can't find anything it reaches (its lead is only about 2" long) and I can't find anything else loose that I could reach to it.

I've now driven over 60 miles and the VSC and TRAC lights haven't come on, so I think it was my ODBII connector that tripped the ECU into throwing those lights. Still wondering about that connector, though. Anyone have any ideas what is is, or where I can find some parts fiches to see what might connect to it?
