extra hose required for B&M trans cooler?

After reading all the pages of horror stories of the stock strawberry milkshake maker i decided to order the B&M 70268. Any idea if i need more hose by running the supplied lines through the firewall with the A/C lines ? I cant find which page i saw it on but i thought a few got by with whats included in the kit and used the original hose to connect remaining ports on radiator? Just want to have it all lined up and all parts needed ready to go when it gets here. Thanks for any help

I just installed that model and yeah, you will definitely need extra hose. If you mount it is back of the radiator, you couldn't probably get away with it, but not in front.

Plus extra hose will allow you to connect both the old fittings on the radiator so that you won't lose coolant if your coolant corrodes through after doing this.

Plus the stuff is cheap, just get some extra and a couple extra hose clamps.

and i plan on running in front of the condenser btw. are you guys buying enough to run all the way up front or buying enough to add to whatever comes with the B&M and splicing them together?

I used the hose that came with the cooler for one side (don't remember if it was in or out, it was arbitrary anyway), and the additional one for the other. I had enough left off the kit hose to connect the old ports together. No splicing required. I connected my hoses to the hard lines where the stock flex tube connected. They were a PITA to reach both for removal and for re-mounting, but it worked.

I installed 70264 just last week and only needed a 4 ft tranny hose in addition to what was included in the kit.
