Eyebrow tint?

Just curious about everyone's opinion on having an eyebrow tint put on my 4runner (strip across the top of the front window). I'd go pretty dark with it, darker than the windows that's for sure. I'm going to get getting the side windows tented to match the rears, so I may do this at the same time. If the answer is yes, how wide should I go? Thanks, and here's a pic of my 4runner for reference:

I have a mixed feeling about this. I did it to mine, but still think it's looks a little different sometimes.

It definitely helps though.

Here's a link for how wide you can go based on your state laws.

Some are a certain number of inches while others are upto the AS1 line.

Hmmm, interesting. I was thinking I'd need 20% on the front windows to match the rear windows (side). According to that, the legal limit on both is 25%. So, is our tint darker than legal on the 2 rear side windows, or what's the deal? Also, looks like 5 inches is the max, which should be fine by me as I didn't want a huge one anyway. Thanks!

The back windows are in fact much darker than the legal limit in most states, for some reason on trucks and suv's it is fine for the back windows to be tinted as dark as you want. However on cars, from my personal experience of a $400 ticket, they frown upon tint anywhere that is darker than the 35% legal (at least in MA). But the "eyebrow" tint, you could probably go as dark as you want (I think it is necessary to have to block out the sun).
