EZ Flares

Before I get harassed/bashed/etc. Yes I will need flares of some sort as our wonderful state requires them to cover the tires.

Yes I could swap back to my stock rims and tires annually for my safety check but I honestly rather not. Not to mentioned if my wife ever has to drive the 4R I rather have it 100% legal.

That being said.

Bushwackers are not growing on me like I thought they would.

I have some FN Konig Countersteer Type X w/Nitto Terra Grappler's 285/70/17 sitting in the garage going on once my god damn lift parts get here.

I mean whatever. Assuming they install properly and don't start sagging or falling off or something, they'll probably be hardly noticeable to 99.9% of people and they don't really look that bad on any vehicle shown in the photos.

Look less offensive than the Bushwackers in my opinion.

I haven't looked at the stock ones but I'm 99.9% sure there was screws or something holding the liner in on the bottom side of the fender.

Was planning on using those to also try and hold down this down.

I actually just bought some of those about a month ago myself. Figured I’d try them out. If I don’t like them I’ll take them off, they’re relatively inexpensive.
I’m just waiting for it be warmer than 0 here so I can put them on.

Looks to be the exact same product as the "EZ Lip" which are basically the bottom seal of the garage door.

It is a flimsy foam, but is low risk and could be worth a try!

Sorry to bring up a dead thread but did you guys have any luck with those EZ flares? Are they firm enough to not sag if you screw them in the bottom? I was looking at the XL version.

I tried some rubber pacer fender flares and ended up taking them off after running them for a couple months just because the rubber would warp and looked like garbage on the rear wheel wells. I'm running 35's with offset wheels and hoping to at least use these to keep down the spray when I drive around town in snow and rain. I can deal with a full wash after wheeling, but my sunfire red paint seems to get dirty with even just a couple miles driving in the rain. Thanks for any feedback,

I ended up not needing them.

With my FN Wheels and 285/70/17 they line up with the fender perfect. The rear mud flap doesn't cover the whole tired but I still passed inspection so going to roll without um.

I see them on Kauai sometimes, I guess people bringing cars over from Oahu and I started to ignore them. They don't look terrible...
