Well, the time has come to part ways with my T4R. I need money for school and a laptop, and the added expense of owning a home, and 2 vehicles has now officially overcome me...
So I must sell my beloved 4 Runner... It's a '96 4x4, 4-Cyl manual transmission model with 183k almost entirely trouble-free miles. It's a "base model", meaning it has no power windows/doors/mirrors/moonroof/etc... It does have very cold a/c, very warm heater, rear heater, rear defrost, cd/mp3 audio system, and of course back power window (which I am going to miss greatly)....
I purchased it almost 2 years ago from a lot outside of Dallas, Texas with about 160k. Since then I've replaced all the belts, bought 4 new tires, done a major tune-up, replaced the front rotors/pads, rear drums/pads, installed a Pioneer/Kenwood/Rockford Fosgate/Sony mp3 sound system (it sounds phenomenal), bought a new battery, new catalytic converter, and am installing a new exhaust manifold this week. I know there's more, but I can't think of anything else off the top of my head right now. I've been very particular about all the maintenence, as it's been my daily driver this whole time. The fluids, plugs, and filter have all been routinely changed the entire time I've owned it...
The truck has never once been abused since I've gotten it, and I've gone to great lenghts to make sure it's always in top running condition....
I really, really, really don't want to sell it, but money has gotten tight recently, and I can't afford my toys anymore... I'd really love to sell it to a good home (fellow T4R enthusiast), which is why I'm posting it here before it goes to auto trader - I'm posting it here for less than what I'd be asking on auto trader... For you guys (and gals) I'm letting it go for $5,000... If you have any questions, please ask... BTW - I'm in San Antonio, Texas...
