Fabtech Coilovers

Do any of you guys run them? I'd like to hear some thoughts, I know they are cheap and a lot of people look down on them, but I found a set locally. They are brand new, and for half price.

My current front lift set up is starting to sag from the extra weight, and I was getting ready to just buy Toytecs C/O, but money is a bit tight, and this will save me a bit.

They're probably the last brand I'd buy new, but I saw a pair on Craigslist a week ago for $100. I e-mailed the guy a few times since he didn't leave a ph# but I got no reply. I'd say for $200 or less go for it, but any more than that I'd save your pennies.

I've never had any personal experience with them, but a friend of mine had a set on his Jeep. He wasn't so happy with them.

I'm running them and have had them on for 3 months now and i havent had a problem. I dont do any hardcore wheeling like some people do but i do take mine offroad. So far i got nothing bad too say about them. they seem to ride better than the toytec coils that a buddy of mine has on his runner out of all honesty.

if this is brand new in the box i'd get it, and like some said 200 is what i'd pay. fabtec coilover break all the time and getting them rebuild is a nightmare, so if i were you i save some money, and buy a set of icons or fox. but if money is tight i'd buy a set of coilovers from toytec

I ran them on mine for a few years. Didn't have any issues except that the adjusting collar seized up and they couldn't be adjusted after a while. I'd recommend the toytec coil overs over the fabtech, but for $250 you can't beat that price.

Thanks for you input! I think I am gonna go ahead and get them, Toytec doesn't have anymore coils, for the foreseeable future, so this will get me by for a while. Plus if I don't like them I am sure I could get most of my money back

I just got a pair off craigslist as well and threw them on. I don't have the rear lifted currently so they are at the 0.5" setting which in all honesty is too low for the spring rate. They tend to bottom out on speed bumps because they are a soft ride and really should be put at least 2.0" over stock ride height for better performance. If you are running them lifted they should be pretty nice. I haven't had any problems with them other than the aforementioned issue. I'd say go for it. They are coilovers for $250 after all.
