Fabtech Coilovers

So I got a pair of Fabtech Coilovers this weekend for free and was wondering what is salvageable. One shock is leaking and the bushings are shot. I picked them up just hoping the top plates would be transferable to my Tundra struts, but not sure upon further investigation.

Is anything useable on these or should I just toss them?

They aren't the nicer ones and can't be rebuilt. They would need all new shocks. I don't plan on using them, but rather use the parts. Thanks.

Seriously you should call fabtec. They use to use cheap white body shocks and they might actually be inexpensive. You never know they may be under $100 to fix and you will get adjustable coil overs. I would take those over tundras any day.

I had a fabtec employee rebuild my Saws, he knew his stuff. I went to the fabtec shop and it seemed really nice.

Ok I will give them a call. I've just heard so-so reviews of these coilovers and wasn't really looking to put any money into them. Once I get an idea of pricing I will go with that. The guy I got them from said a local shop wanted $600 to rebuild them. They must have been on crack.

Ohh yeah he must have been trying to rip you off. I paid $100 to get both of my Saws rebuilt. Fabtec is in chino. Good luck. It they actually want that much maybe look into re using the coil springs on blisetin adjustable shocks .

I didn't call, but that shop said $160 to switch top plates from my stock set up to the Tundra set up. Complete rip off.
