Factory Alarm Beep

Hey guys, I have a 2001 4Runner limited with factory alarm. The alarm use to make one beep when locking car and 2 beeps when unlocking. For some reason, these beeps no longer sound when locking/unlocking and I have no idea why.
The only thing in the manual says, "contact dealer." Anyone have any idea how to turn beep back on?

If the alarm is still functioning, it sounds like the Piezo Chirper.
Radio Shack do a replacement. It lives down by the battery and is normally wrapped in foam with a cable tie.

im not sure but id check if u bumped the switch to turn the alarm off...

look down by the driver by the fuses and what not.. on the left hand side.... there is a little toggle switch whitch turnes the alarm on and off... and do u ahve a red light next to your steeting wheel?

if it is turned off then ur alarm is working.
if it is lit up then ur alarm is off... what iu need to do is turn your car on and hit the switch. then turn your car off... see if that did anything!
