I've been sponging off this site since I started researching the 07 T4R SR5 4WD for which I swapped my old F150 about a month and a half ago. I love this truck!! But, I need better tunes (currently have non-JBL stock system).
I have found the HU I want (Alpine IDA-X001). I am trying to avoid buying an amp, at least for now.
My question: Would the factory amp (it's my understanding there is an amp in the dash behind the HU, which allows for power to the tweeters in the front doors) power aftermarket component speakers in the front doors, and the stock speakers in the rear? Or would I have to buy an aftermarket amp to power the front aftermarket component speakers?
