Factory Fog Light Replacement

I want to replace my factory fogs with something brighter. Does anyone make a good replacement? I did a search and found some info on a set from Hella.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

i think the Hella DEs are the only replacement fogs for the 3rd gen. and theyre only a tad much brighter than the stock fog lights. i upgraded my hellas to hid and that helped even more.

the only downside is that they leak and corrode so i made my own splash shield to defeat that.

I disagree. The Hella Micro DEs are *markedly* better than the OEM fogs. Easy plug and play replacement as well.

The factory fog light location seems to be a magnate for rocks. OEM lights are $150-250, replacements are $150 - 250.
I may get a set of $30 Navigators to throw in my spots just for driving, but for offroading I modded up the front end and mounted some IPF lights. WAY BETTER!

Thanks for all the responses guys. I'm going to look into the Hella's. I like your front setup a lot Deceptiwave, but I want to keep the factory locations for my fogs.

I'm finding it hard to believe that nobody has found a decent (read: cheap) alternative to the factory fog light assemblies. Both outer glass pieces are broke on mine. I wish I could simply replace the glass and/or make or find some small wire cages to protect them.

At $150+ to replace these and the fact that they are "rock magnets", I can't justify throwing money at it.

Does anyone have any cheaper alternatives?
